I run Decorative Paint Workshops from my studio in Suffolk. Having always been a painter, I was trained in various decorative techniques by Annie Sloan herself. I was a stockist of her chalk paint for over four years and sold it in both Carley's Yard and Carley & Co and I have been running Decorative Paint Workshops since 2013.
During your Creative Workshop you will learn some great Paint Techniques to use on your own projects at home.
I will provide the paint, brushes and materials needed during the Workshop, and, as well as INSPIRATION you will take home the sample boards you have worked on during your workshop.
Dates for my Workshops are fairly flexible so please get in touch if you and a friend or two would like to attend. Tailor made or solo workshops can also be arranged. Scroll down to the bottom of this page for the small print.

An ideal Creative Workshop to equip you with the basic skills needed to get started with your first up-cycling project and to learn about using chalk paint. The main techniques covered below, but if you would like to try something else please let me know.

Techniques Two Workshop 10 am - 1 pm £85
For those who already have some experience of various Decorative Paint Techniques and furniture painting and want to achieve some more advanced finishes. The main techniques covered are:
Decoupage
Stencilling
Gilding
BOOKING: Please email to book, places cannot be secured until payment is made.
TIMES: Starting at 10 am prompt and we should be finished by 1pm but may run a little over (up to half an hour).
WEAR: Not your best clothes! Comfortable and old enough for it not to be the end of the world if you get paint on them. I will provide aprons or feel free to bring your own. (Cuffs and sleeves often get paint on them so be able to push them up).
REFRESHMENTS: Coffee, tea and biscuits will be provided. I can recommend places to go for lunch after your Workshop

CANCELLATIONS: Please note that I do not refund Workshop fees if cancellation is less than 14 days from the date of the event if I cannot fill your place with another person, however, I will offer you more dates so that you can attend your Workshop at a later date. If I have to cancel the Workshop I will give you as much notice as possible and offer you future dates otherwise you will be refunded. If you do cancel I will have to eat all the cake I have baked or bought for the Workshop.
